4:34 p.m. Deputy Morris issued a summons to a Riverside Avenue resident for driving with a revoked license.

Friday, June 12

5:55 p.m. Mancos Deputy Jared Farnsworth responded to around the 9000 block of County Road 34 to assist Sgt. Brad Ray on a traffic stop. Ray said the vehicle had nearly collided with him head-on, and the driver, who was found to be driving under the influence, was cited and released with a DUI, driving with a revoked license and careless driving.

Saturday, June 20

6:06 p.m. Mancos Deputy Angelita Topaha was dispatched to a report of possible domestic violence at the 200 block of West Second Street. After investigation, the call was found to be unfounded.

Saturday, June 27

7:57 p.m. Deputy Topaha was responding to a report of a missing person at the 50 block of South Willow Street. The missing person was later found and returned home.

Sunday, June 28

6:37 p.m. Deputy Morris responded to a report of an ongoing fight at the 400 block of Oak Street. The fight took place between two sisters, with one sister having sprayed pepper spray in the other’s eyes. After investigation, neither party wanted to press charges, and the call was cleared after the sisters were separated.

Wednesday, July 1

6:03 p.m. Deputy Farnsworth was dispatched to the 200 block of West 2nd Street for a reported break-in. The reporting person said that someone has been entering their house and letting the dogs out, although nothing has been stolen when it has happened. The investigation was inconclusive.
