Mancos Farmers Market wraps up

Last day will be Oct. 10

Now that fall has officially arrived, summer traditions and events are wrapping up – including the Mancos Farmers Market, which has just a few weeks left.

On sleepy Thursday afternoons throughout the summer, produce, meat, and pastry vendors set up shop in the downtown Ballantine lot alongside the Columbine Bar. Local musicians rotated through, taking the stage to serenade market-goers and passersby.

The market has been going on for over a decade, and it’s been a great summer, with lively music and more tourists arriving every week, said Carrie Summer, the market’s director and a real estate broker with Colorado Ranch & Home Realty.

The last day of the market is Oct. 10.
