Ken Curtis, the general manager of Dolores Water Conservancy District, will speak at the League of Women Voters of Montezuma County meeting at 10 a.m., April 9 at the Mancos Public Library.
Curtis will discuss the history of the district, water availability this summer, what the future looks like, how decisions on local water apportionments are made and how we can use water more wisely today.
