Lauren Boebert, narcissism at its finest. Gets into a public physical fight with her ex. Our congresswoman still, through 2024! Not a good public example of leadership or family values, but we now can see the Republicans were insincere about that all along.

But understand this: Boebert is part of a larger project to remove government as an effective tool to solve critical problems. She primaried out Scott Tipton, mainstream Republican, and got lots of dark money for that project. She’s always been a lab rat for the wealthy authoritarianism promoters to test the responsiveness of MAGAs to candidates campaigning, based on attitude and style as compared with experience and substance.

And in some ways, it’s useful to think of all of us as lab rats, even progressives and young people. Will we sit it out or fight for our own futures? The stakes are high.
