Four responders report to scene of ATV crash

An ATV crash on County Road 25 south of Cortez caused minor hand injuries after the driver crashed into a ditch and was thrown from the vehicle. The Montezuma County Sheriff’s Office, Colorado State Patrol, Cortez Fire Protection District and Southwest Health System ambulance responded to the scene. The driver did not require transport to the hospital. No citations were issued, and the cause of the accident was “operator error,” according to a deputy at the scene.
