Don’t you think it’s somewhat perverse that a man who wants the Nobel Peace Prize so much he campaigns for it is now guilty of ordering our military to blow boats out of the water in the Caribbean without even determining whether the occupants are drug smugglers or innocent fishermen?
As I write this, there have been 15 incidents of destroyed boats, and as yet, absolutely no proof that the occupants were drug smugglers. And by the way, two rescued boatmen were later released – strange, right, if they were drug smugglers?
But, hey, when you’re a dictator, you can do anything. Maybe that peace prize may be slipping further and further away, don’t you think?
