Farmington Events Calendar: Things to do in Northern New Mexico

Highlight of the Week

San Juan County Fair kicks off Friday and runs through Aug. 13 at McGee Park, 41 County Road 5568. The fair will feature livestock shows, a parade, vendors and live musical performances.

The San Juan County Fair parade will lead the festivities at 6 p.m. Friday night, with the parade route traveling through downtown Farmington.

Fairgrounds will open each day at 8 a.m. Carnival rides will operate Aug. 11 to 15 from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 5 p.m. to midnight Friday, 2 p.m. to midnight Saturday and 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 children and seniors.
