Durango Film Festival will show the film “Te Ata” with actress Cindy Pickett available for questions after at 6 p.m. Nov. 17 at Animas City Theatre, 128 E. College Drive.

The film is based on the story of Mary Thompson Fisher, who fought cultural barriers to become one of the greatest Native American performers of all time. Pickett plays Miss Davis in the film.
