‘Concerned’ by behavior during Biden’s address

I was not only appalled but concerned by the behavior exhibited Tuesday during President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address. I have been taught that whether you agree or don’t agree with someone, you show them respect.

Obviously, the “Trumper” contingency of the Republican Party think they are Donald Trump, and can be rude and disruptive. They behaved as though they were raised in the wild. No! They behaved even worse than that.

They are elected officials and should behave as such. There are other ways to show you disagree with someone other than booing and shouting. They could have just not shown up – that would have been so much better – or made calm public statements to news sources. But no, they had to show up and show America that it is all right to behave with disrespect.

The message is “if you don’t like something, behave as badly as possible and get noticed.”

I hope their constituents take note of this behavior and not vote for them next election. As for the Republican Party, it should take action against those individuals who shed a bad light on the party. The party is in enough trouble. It does not need to be represented by such disrespectful, abominable, immature people who care not for the people they represent.
