Colorado Parks and Wildlife will celebrate Colorado Day on Monday, with free entrance at all 42 state parks. Free entrance at the state parks is an annual Colorado Day tradition. Although the state celebrates its 145th birthday Aug. 1, state parks will only offer free entrance Aug. 2.

All other fees, including camping and reservations will remain in effect Aug. 2.

CPW manages 42 state parks, more than 350 state wildlife areas, all of Colorado's wildlife, and a variety of outdoor recreation.
