Survey aims to determine who visits Aztec and how to plan tourism efforts

The city of Aztec has partnered with resident and graduate student Christa Chapman to survey business owners who have physical locations in Aztec and who serve customers directly at that location.

The goal of the survey is to determine who is spending time and money in Aztec and how the city can better plan their efforts to encourage tourism to the city. The survey is part of Chapman’s graduate school capstone project in Integrated Marketing Communications.

The survey is open through Feb. 28. Chapman plans to use the results of the survey to help the city develop a tourism marketing plan. All responses will be kept confidential to the research. Business information, owner and employee names or information will not be shared with the city of Aztec or any entity without permission. Survey results will only be shared on an anonymous basis.

The survey may be filled out online.
