On the one hand, Colorado Democrat U.S. Rep. Brittany Pettersen has recently proposed legislation to understand and stem the import and flow of illicit drugs, such as fentanyl via a multi-agency approach.

On the other hand, U.S. Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert has recently cosponsored a bill, with New York’s U.S. Rep. George Santos to make the child-murdering AR-15 America’s national gun. I am proud to say that Democrat Pettersen has the well-being of her constituents in mind, while Republican Boebert seems to have the interests of the NRA in mind.

The choice between our two main political parties has never been more clear.
