The Journal’s annual
Voters may select their top choices in categories such as Automotive; Food and Dining; Legal, Financial and Real Estate Services; Wellness; Shopping and Entertainment; and Professional/Other Services. There’s also a category for best new businesses.
The top businesses from last year’s awards were selected as nominees, but voters also may write-in a candidate. If your business isn’t listed, it doesn’t mean you weren’t nominated, but simply didn’t score at the top.
Voting ends Oct. 2 at 5 p.m. Winners will be announced on Oct. 27 and printed in The Journal on Oct. 28.
To register, go to http://bit.ly/BestofCortez2016 or click on the ad at the top of The-Journal.com. Start making your picks, and you will be prompted to register. After registering, you can vote for your favorite once per category. Duplicate ballots will be eliminated.
Winners will be announced at an event in Cortez. Businesses that place among the Top 3 in each category gain marketing rights to the “Best of Cortez” logo for a year, a certificate and two tickets to the recognition event.
