Office will grant property tax exemptions to qualifying veterans

San Juan County Assessor Jimmy Voita and New Mexico Department of Veterans Affairs will host an in-office service day for veterans from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, San Juan County Building, 100 S. Oliver Drive, Aztec.
Staff will assist veterans and unmarried surviving spouses of veterans in applying for a property tax exemption. Property tax exemptions will be granted for qualifying veterans, on the spot.
