Annual Cortez Cleanup Week coming April 18

Is it time to clean up your yard, garage or shed?

The annual Cortez Cleanup Week is April 18-22, and city workers will pick up curbside trash on the same day and route that your regular trash is picked up.

Don’t leave these curbside

Branches and limbs should be taken to the drop-off location on Saturday, April 23, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the BMX Track, 1415 E. Empire St.Do not leave large metal items on the curb. Take them to the drop-off on Saturday, April 23, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the BMX Track, 1415 E. Empire St.Electronics won’t be accepted at the curb or the drop-off location. Take them to the Montezuma County Landfill.
