2:22 p.m., Someone threw rocks through a widow a truck and a window of trailer in the 26700 block of County Road L.

Monday, Nov. 14

10:42 a.m., A woman reportedly punched out the glass of an piece of antique furniture in the 10200 of County Road G.

Monday, Nov. 21

1:35 p.m., A report was made for a missing dog in the 31300 block of County Road S. The dog reportedly seen in online social media posts from a woman in Telluride trying to rehome the dog. A deputy asked the Telluride Marshal’s Office to reach out to the woman, and the dog was returned Tuesday, Nov. 22.

11:26 p.m., A report of a man assaulting someone in the 7200 block of County Road 25 resulted in his arrest on suspicion of violating a protection order that prevents him from possessing or drinking alcohol.

Sunday, Nov. 27

11:24 a.m., A man who was reported sleeping in vacant building in the 18300 block of Colorado Highway 145.

Monday, Nov. 28

12:11 p.m., A man reported that about $1,290 in construction materials had been stolen from a construction site in the 41800 block of Road J.75.

Tuesday, Nov. 29

10:40 p.m., Someone reported a horse that appeared to be injured in a field in the 7100 block of Road 25.3. A deputy contacted the owner, who explained the horse was an old racing horse who never fully recovered from but was in generally good health.

Wednesday, Nov. 30

9:36 a.m., An officer served someone two warrants at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Sunday, Dec. 4

12:49 p.m., An argument in the 14800 block of County Road 36.1 between a married man and woman reportedly escalated to the point of the woman biting the man in the hand, causing him to bleed. The woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.

7:27 p.m., A man turned himself in for a domestic violence warrant at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Monday, Dec. 5

4:43 p.m., A man driving in the 28000 block of Forest Service Road reported he was stuck in the snow without supplies. A deputy attempted to contact him but could not reach him by phone. Sheriff Steven Nowlin advised the deputy he would contact search and rescue to see if they could help the man.

12:55 p.m., A technician at the Montezuma County Detention Center reported that a convicted sex offender missed registration requirements twice. He was released Sept. 12 and was due for registration on Nov. 26 and Dec. 2.

Tuesday, Dec. 6

3:22 p.m., A man was taken into custody at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., and taken to the Montezuma County Detention Center.

Wednesday, Dec. 7

12:31 a.m., A deputy investigated a report of an assault in the 10700 block of Road 24.4, but found no one at home. The case remains open pending interviews with the parties involved.

4:27 p.m., A man was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., and taken to the Montezuma County Detention Center.

Monday, Dec. 12

9:31 p.m., A person was served a warrant at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
