The Cortez Lions Club held its raffle drawing Dec. 17 at Jack & Jenelle’s Country Kitchen.
First-prize winner of a Microsoft Surface RT is Victoria Leon. Second-prize winner of a wooden lounge chair is Brain Stokley.
The Cortez Lions Club greatly appreciates everyone who bought tickets or made a donation in support of this fundraising event. Slavens True Value Hardware donated the lounge chair.
Funds raised from the event are for eyeglasses grants for people who need assistance to purchase eyeglasses. The Cortez Lions Club is a nonprofit organization.
