Help from a Cortez brigade

Kadee Layton and Shannon Williamson unload 28 care packages for the 22nd Engineer Clearance Co., “Hooligan Nation,” in Afghanistan. Pfc. Andrew Layton, the son of Williamson and husband to Layton, is serving there in the Army. The two, along with Keslie Kidd and Sandy Greenlee, put the packages together. Slavens donated hand and toe warmers, Empire Electric donated pens and calendars, First Southwest Bank donated pocket calendar/notebooks, Joy’s Foods gave a discount on green chile, and Adobe Milling discounted hot sauce.
