Cortez Police investigating incident
An injured woman is tended to by paramedics after a crash on Colorado Highway 145 Friday morning in northeast Cortez. Seat belts were being worn and airbags deployed, said Cortez Fire Protection District Chief Jay Balfour. The crash is being investigated by the Cortez Police Department.

A two-vehicle crash sent one person to Southwest Memorial Hospital Friday morning at the intersection of County Road L and Colorado Highway 145. Cortez Police, Cortez Fire Protection District, and Mancos Fire Department EMTs responded to the scene.
