Thursday, May 14

11:14 a.m.: An officer responded to Pinon Project, 210 E. Main St, Cortez, for a report of a woman with warrants. The woman was arrested on suspicion of two warrants.

5:11 p.m.: An officer responded to Big R, 1319 E. Main St., for a report of a man who threw a rock at a vehicle windshield. The man was identified and cited for the incident; Big R requested he be banned.

8:38 p.m.: An officer responded to 700 Jordan Place for a REDDI report of a swerving vehicle. The man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, driving without a valid license, no insurance, invalid registration and open alcohol containers in a motor vehicle.

Friday, May 15

7:16 a.m.: An officer responded to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve a warrant on a man already in custody.

8:57 a.m.: An officer responded to Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., for a warrant service. A man already in custody was served and transported to the Montezuma County Detention Center.

2:04 p.m.: An officer responded to a residence on North Elm Street for a report of a man lying in a front yard of a home where he doesn’t live. The man was arrested on suspicion of a warrant.

Saturday, May 16

12:09 a.m.: An officer responded to Love's, 7006 U.S. Hwy. 160, for a disorderly man. The man, who had earlier been given courtesy rides after an assault report, was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

3:14 a.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop at North Washington Street and East Montezuma Avenue on a man driving the wrong way. The man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, failure to provide proof of insurance and failure to drive in a designated lane.

1:46 p.m.: An officer responded to City Market, 508 E. Main St., for an allegedly intoxicated man who had fallen. The man was arrested on suspicion of a warrant.

2:56 p.m.: An officer responded to South Market Street and arrested a woman on a municipal warrant.

Sunday, May 17

12:08 a.m.: An officer responded to East Fourth Street and South Beech Street for a vehicle parked on the wrong side of the road. The woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, false reporting of identity, open alcohol container in a motor vehicle, driving without a valid license and failure to drive the vehicle on the right side of the road.

3:45 a.m.: An officer responded to Denny's, 2059 E. Main St., for an unwanted man asleep at a table. The man was arrested on suspicion of two warrants.

9:03 a.m.: An officer responded to Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., for a woman sitting on the sidewalk. The woman was arrested on suspicion of a warrant.

11:24 a.m.: An officer responded to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve a warrant on a man already in custody.

4:50 p.m.: An officer responded to Sleeping Ute Apartments, 516 S. Madison St., and arrested a man on two warrants.

6:25 p.m.: An officer responded to Aneth Lodge, 645 E. Main St., for a disturbance. Two men were cited for disturbing the peace after repeated complaints of yelling.

Monday, May 18

11:09 a.m.: An officer responded to Safeway, 1580 E. Main St., for shoplifting. A man was cited for shoplifting and a trespass notice was prepared.

7:46 p.m.: An officer responded to City Market, 508 E. Main St., for an unwanted woman. The woman, previously banned, was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.

9:33 p.m.: An officer responded to Cortez Apartments, 620 E. Empire St., for a man banging on doors. The man was arrested on suspicion of disturbing the peace.

Tuesday, May 19

12:58 p.m.: An officer responded to City Market, 508 E. Main St., for shoplifting. A man was cited for shoplifting and trespassing.

8:15 p.m.: An officer responded to Safeway, 1580 E. Main St., for a warrant service. A woman was arrested on two warrants and later cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and introducing contraband after suspected methamphetamine was found on her person.
