Wednesday, June 18

8:42 a.m.: An officer responded to City Market, 508 E. Main St., where a man with a warrant for menacing was taken into custody.

12:42 p.m.: A welfare check at City Market, 508 E. Main St., led to the arrest of a man with a warrant for failure to appear.

7:03 p.m.: An officer responded to an apartment complex on East Second Street, where a man was arrested on suspicion of stalking after allegedly following a woman home from Walmart and making threatening statements.

Thursday, June 19

11:20 a.m.: A deputy responded to Veterans Park, 803 E. Montezuma Ave., where a man and woman were allegedly consuming alcohol. The man, who had bond conditions prohibiting alcohol, was arrested. The woman was issued a citation for open container and possession of alcohol in the park.

8:33 p.m.: An officer responded to Tucker Lane, where a man was found sitting on the curb. He had a warrant for DUI and was arrested.

11:51 p.m.: An officer responded to Destination Grill, 2121 E. Main St., where a man was caught on camera attempting to break into an outdoor refrigerator. He was found hiding nearby and arrested on suspicion of trespassing.

Friday, June 20

12:40 p.m.: An officer responded to Loungin’ Lizard, 2 W. Main St., where a woman was cited for theft after allegedly dining and leaving without paying. The woman was banned from the establishment. Police have been unable to contact the man who was also alleged to have left without paying.

12 p.m.: An officer responded to Family Dollar, 324 S. Broadway, where a man reported being defrauded of $40 via Cash App by another man who was already trespassed from the store. The second man was cited with trespassing and theft.

5:06 p.m.: An officer contacted a woman near the Cortez Library after she was seen trespassing at Speedway, 921 E. Main St. She was arrested on a warrant and cited for trespassing.

8:54 p.m.: An officer responded to Ocean Pearl, 300 E. Main St., where a man allegedly involved in a disturbance was found to have a warrant. He was arrested for his warrant and transported to the Montezuma County Detention Center.

10:19 p.m.: An officer responded to the Cozy Inn, 440 S. Broadway, where a woman reported being assaulted by multiple individuals. One man was arrested for violating bond conditions.

Sunday, June 22

2:09 a.m.: An officer responded to 405 W. Seventh St., where a man was found intoxicated on a porch. He was arrested for violating a protection order that states he shall not possess or consume alcohol and transported to the Montezuma County Detention Center.

8:50 a.m.: An officer responded to a residence on Stratton Drive for a domestic disturbance. A man and his adult son were both cited for harassment after a dispute involving property damage.

3:41 p.m.: An officer contacted a man at the Pinon Project, 210 E. Main St., who gave a false name. He was later identified as having a warrant and was arrested. Alleged drug paraphernalia was found in his backpack.

8:03 p.m.: Officers responded to Tomahawk Motel, 728 S. Broadway, where a man with a DUI warrant was arrested after a disturbance.

11:47 p.m.: An officer observed a man with a warrant walking near South Market Street and East Seventh Street. He was arrested and found to be in possession of alleged drug paraphernalia.

Monday, June 23

12:38 a.m.: An officer responded to Sleeping Ute Apartments, 516 S. Madison St., where a woman accused two men of giving her son “bitter powder.” One man was arrested for trespassing.

Tuesday, June 24

1:26 a.m.: A deputy responded to Sleeping Ute Apartments, 516 S. Madison St., where a woman was found to be knocking on the wrong apartment door and violating a protection order that states she shall not possess or consume alcohol. She was arrested and transported to the Montezuma County Detention Center.

4:43 p.m.: An officer responded to the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., to remand a woman into custody.

7:20 p.m.: An officer contacted a woman walking near Dolores State Bank, 744 E. Main St., who had a warrant. She was arrested and transported to the Montezuma County Detention Center.

7:55 p.m.: An officer responded to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., where a bondsman had a man in custody with multiple warrants.

9:19 p.m.: An officer observed a woman walking away from a man near South Market Street and East Second Street. The man was arrested for harassment and domestic violence.

Wednesday, June 25

10:38 a.m.: An officer on patrol near Ocean Pearl, 300 E. Main St., cited a man for trespassing at the restaurant after being previously banned.

1:01 p.m.: An officer responded to Speedway, 2021 E. Main St., for a report of a stolen phone. The suspect was located and cited for theft. The phone was returned to the owner.

6:28 p.m.: An officer served multiple warrants to a man already in custody at the jail, 730 E. Driscoll St.

7:29 p.m.: An officer responded to the American Legion, 320 N. Harrison St., for a disturbance. A man was arrested on a warrant after following a woman who was restrained from him.
