The calendar, printed for 2023, includes all of the dogs who came to the call. Over 100 dogs were photographed during the call.

Twelve were chosen by a group of 12 judges to be the featured dog for each month. The chosen 12 were then professionally photographed by Wild Blue Bug Photography at a location in Montezuma County.

Leading up to the “release party,” $5 from every calendar benefited local nonprofit, For Pets’ Sake Humane Society, which yielded $390. Mr. November – Wrangler, an Australian shepherd, owned by Cadette Denbo is the 2023 Montezuma Mutts Cover Dog.

Calendars are available for purchase online or in-store . Each page features a local dog, along with smaller squares of their doggy friends. The calendar covers January 2023 through December 2023 with an extra page in the inside cover of 2024.
