‘Zoom call like child’s play’

What was The Durango Herald staff thinking? After a reporter wrote an article about the Durango City Council’s Zoom meeting being hijacked by anti-Semites, and with Jew hatred out of control, the Herald decided to print a blatantly biased editorial cartoon showing Israel bulldozing a Palestinian and ruining efforts for a two-state solution.

Also, why has the Herald not yet singularly denounced the Oct. 7 massacre by Hamas, who stated they will continue to kill Jews, whenever possible?

Question to the Herald, who would Israel negotiate with for two states? Hamas, the elected Gaza leaders, who on Oct. 7, initiated a murderous and barbaric slaughter of 1,200 innocent women, children and unarmed civilians in Israel? Or the Palestinian Authority who governs Judea/Samaria (West Bank)? The Palestinian Authority openly celebrated the Oct. 7 massacre.

Their corruption and incompetence is apparent. Either way, any Palestinian state would be a launching pad for further terrorist attacks on the citizens of Israel.

Let’s also not forget there was a ceasefire in place on Oct. 6. At that time, 17,000 Gazans were coming in daily to Israel to work inside the Jewish state for better wages than conceivable under Hamas.

Please, Herald, be more responsible in publishing such a shameless anti-Israel cartoon. With emotions running high, don’t be surprised when something worse happens that makes a Zoom call look like child’s play.
