The second annual Power to the Polls Women’s March and Rally is set for Jan. 20 at Cortez City Park.

It is sponsored by Montezuma Alliance For Unity and is free. The two-hour event starts at 10 a.m. and is open to everyone.

After a short rally at the flagpoles behind the Cortez Welcome Center at the corner of North Park and East Main streets, marchers will twice encircle the four blocks around Cortez City Park. Volunteers will lead chants, serve as march marshals and provide light refreshments. Participants are encouraged to bring respectful signs.
