The Women's Cancer Coalition is again sponsoring "Streak October Pink" to raise funds for local women to receive free breast and cervical cancer screenings through Planned Parenthood and the Community Health Clinic of Dove Creek.
For a donation to WCC women and men can get a stylish pink hair streak at one of the following salons Cellar Cuts, Best L'il Hair House, Dawn's Hair Den, Envy, HairVolution, Hair Affair, In Style, Mountain Hair, Ritz, Salon Serenity, Tangles, Terri's Hair, and Viva.
Through this and other October fundraisers, non-profit WCC has been able to provide cancer-screening services for more than 1,000 local women.
