‘Vote for Dolores schools, a vote for town'

Vote “yes” on the Dolores School Bond Measure 4A. Your vote of support for Dolores students will be the first step in helping with the much needed renovations and building of a new secondary building on the existing campus in town. When the bond passes, the Dolores School District will apply for the Best Grant to complete the necessary funding of this project.

The proposed project will include a new two-story school, improved drainage throughout the campus and a new commons that will connect multiple buildings in an effort for a safer campus with fewer points of entry.

These improvements will be adding onto the BEST project, completed in 2012. Dolores students need your support on this. If you need to register to vote, go to vote.gov. If you’d like to see the complete 50-year master plan, go to https://doloresschools.org/school-board/. The master plan has the aging report of the buildings and the proposed future steps. Our students are thriving and they deserve an updated facility.

The town of Dolores will be improved by having updated school buildings within the city limits. Strong schools are a leading indicator of economic vitality and commercial, as well as, residential property value. Your vote of support for Dolores schools is a vote for the town of Dolores.
