The Colorado Trail Foundation is asking people to join its volunteer trail crews to help improve and preserve the Colorado Trail.

Trail crew members must be at least 16 years old and in good physical condition. No previous trail building experience is required.

Crew 1219 will work on Molas Pass, Segment 24, from Aug. 3 to Aug. 10. The crew will construct drains, check steps and complete other maintenance work on the east side of Molas Pass. Camp will be at Molas Lake Campground. Work locations will be a moderate hike of up to 1 mile from camp.

Space is limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Cost to join the trail crew is $75.
