Umberger makes all-tournament team

The Dolores Bears got off to a slow start in the Shiprock tournament last weekend.
But after falling to Shiprock in three games (10-25, 20-25, 12-25), the Bears bounced back and won their final six.
They defeated Shiprock Northwest in three straight sets (25-7, 25-10, 25-18). Then, they closed out their weekend by taking down Hot Springs in just three games (26-24, 25-17, 25-19).
Dolores placed third in the tournament, and senior Larissa Umberger was named to the all-tournament team.
The Bears volleyball team's next match is scheduled at Dove Creek on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 4 p.m.
