Ronda Lancaster, with Hospice of Montezuma, accepts an award from Bruce Johnson from United Way. Hospice received the award for the highest average gift and most dollars given by a United Way partner agency. United Way celebrated its annual fundraising drive with a luncheon Friday. They met about 96 percent of their $103,000 goal. Southwest Memorial Hospital collected the most money, more than $21,000, and Four Seasons Greenhouse and Nursery received a special award for their efforts in hosting Taste of the Seasons.
