Eight candidates for the Dolores School Board will face off for two open seats during the Nov. 4 elections.

Linnea Vass will run for another four-year term, and Matt Mecham, who was recently appointed to a vacant board seat, must seek election to the seat.

The other candidates are Stanton Mannis, Rick Carpenter, Dan Jones, Joye McHenry and Keith Moore.

A candidate forum is being planned, and interviews of each candidate will run in The Dolores Star.
