Tri-County Head Start and San Juan Basin Public Health’s Women, Infants and Children program will hold an open enrollment day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 20 at the Tri- County Head Start Central Office, 1315 Main Ave., Suite 124.

Enrollment representatives will meet with families with children younger than 5 years old to sign them up for the WIC program and to get on the wait list for any TCHS location for the 2018-19 school year.

Representatives from San Juan Basin Public Health, Tri-County Head Start, La Plata County Department of Human Services, La Plata Family Centers Coalition, Cooking Matters, Farm to Preschool and Durango Public Library will be available to answer questions about programs and resources.

To complete applications for Head Start and WIC, families need to bring a valid ID, children’s birth certificates and proof of income for 2017 or from the last 12 months.
