Six members of the Cortez chapter of the national weight-loss group Taking Off Pounds Sensibly attended the 2018 fall rally “Best of the West in TOPS” in Grand Junction on Sept. 15, and several members were recognized for their accomplishments.
Lynne Gilge received an award for nine consecutive weeks of weight loss, and the Cortez chapter received first place for Best Centerpiece.
TOPS, a weight-loss support group, meets every Friday with weigh-in from 10:45-11:30 a.m., followed by a program about healthy eating tips. For more information, contact Judy Echols-Leader at 435-414-4733.
