The Mancos Valley Distillery presents Not Quite Dry, which covers classic rock, blues, rock-a-billy, and country and mixes in its original songs, on Friday, April 15.

Doors open at 5 p.m., music starts at 8 p.m., and the cover charge is $3.

Not Quite Dry was formed in 2012 by lead guitarist Pat Downey and now consists of Downey on lead guitar, Louie Martinez on drums, and Chris Garcia on bass. All three take turns with the vocals.

Downey started in music at the age of 8 with the guitar and drums. He had been in a few bands when he formed Not Quite Dry. Now he is busy playing lead guitar and providing vocals and writing new music for the band.

Louie Martinez joined Not Quite Dry a couple years ago. He began drumming at age 13 and has played with various bands in the Cortez area and Salt Lake City. He took a short break while he was in the Army. If you listen closely you will hear him provide back up vocals for Downey and Garcia.

Garcia began playing music at age 3 and currently plays bass and provides the vocals on some of their songs. He has been known to play a variety of instruments in the different bands that he has been a part of.
