The Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado will host a comprehensive, three-part training series on nonprofit board best practices from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 8, Oct. 22 and Nov. 5 at First United Methodist Church, Hampton Hall, 515 N. Park St.

Attendees will review topics such as board expectations and rigor, board evaluation, board relationships, productive meetings and quality decision-making. Registration for the full series is $60.
