With respect to Mr. Weintraub’s article The Mystery of Christmas in the Dec. 21 edition:

While “The Beautiful Star of Bethlehem” is a pretty song, the fact is that the star had to have led the wise men to Nazareth. Matthew 2:29 and Luke 2:22 and 29 plainly indicate this. When they arrived, he was a young child living in a house and not a babe in a manger, as Mr. Weintraub pointed out.
