Telluride MountainFilm fest set to hit April 11

Greater Dolores Action and the Dolores River Festival present the 10th Annual Telluride MountainFilm On Tour on Friday, April 11.

The popular event takes place at the Dolores Community Center located at 4th Street and Riverside Street in Dolores from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

A compilation of award-winning films from the Telluride MountainFilm Festival will be screened. The event allows local residents to view a selection of outstanding films from the Telluride festival who otherwise would not have the opportunity to experience them.

The Great Outdoors Silent Auction will also take place at the event. The auction features a vast selection of outdoor recreational gear and river equipment from local outdoor companies. Unique and wonderful goods and services from local businesses will also be auctioned off.

Some of the selection includes an inflatable stand-up paddle board package by 4 Corners River Sports; Osprey Packs; Paco Pads from Jack's Plastic Welding; massage gift certificates and more.

Dinner will be catered by The Naked Moose, beer will be provided by the Dolores River Brewery, and snacks and other refreshments will be available for purchase.

Admission for adults is $10 at the door; children 15 and under are free. All proceeds benefit GDA, a local non-profit supporting the Dolores River Festival and local river projects.
