The SUP2sack project would like to thank the LOR Foundation for their support in helping the Cortez community transition forward from single-use plastic bags to reusable sacks.

Our sincere gratitude goes out to all the 25 volunteers, local retail stores, Walmart, Safeway and City Market for their participation during our Earth Day giveaway. The Piñon Project, the Good Samaritan and the Good Food Collective will also benefit from your funding.

Furthermore, we would like to invite the public to study Colorado House Bill 21-1162, which phases out single use plastic, and will go into effect on July 1, 2024.
