Southwest Health System was notified that community members are receiving calls from a number from Southwest Memorial Hospital, 970-564-2271, with a recording offering loans and financial assistance. The recording prompts the option to press 1 for more info or 2 to be removed from the list.

If you receive a call from this recording, hang up the phone and do not take action. Notify Haley Leonard at hleonard@swhealth.org or 970-335-8617. Law enforcement has been notified and the number has been disconnected, Leonard said.

There have been no reports of actual fraudulent activity associated with the calls, Leonard said.
