Two designated companions can now accompany patients

Starting Monday, Southwest Memorial Hospital will allow patients to have two “designated companions” accompany them for all medical services.
According to an announcement on Facebook, temperature screenings will continue at designated entrances and anyone entering the facility above the age of 2 is required to wear a mask.
Patients and visitors must remain in the area where they receive care. Travel throughout the facility remains limited.
SHS began allowing one designated companion alongside a patient in early March.
