Slick road

Darlene Antonio rescues some of her belongings from her truck after her daughter, Amberly Boone, lost control of the vehicle heading east on U.S. Highway 160 near the entrance of Mesa Verde. The truck crossed the median and rolled onto the side in the west bound lane of the highway. Boone and her two children were transported to Southwest Memorial Hospital. While stopped for the accident, a pickup pulling a trailer with a tractor started rolling and crashed into the back of a state patrol car. No one was in either the truck or the patrol car.
