Road remains open to traffic
A single-vehicle crash along Wildcat Canyon Road (County Road 141) southwest of Durango sent the driver to the hospital Thursday afternoon.
Colorado State Patrol Sgt. Ivan Alvarado said troopers responded to the scene at 3:10 p.m.
The diver was bleeding from the right side of his head, but the extent of his injuries remained unknown, Alvarado said. He was taken to a hospital via motor vehicle.
The crash occurred in the 8600 block of Wildcat Canyon Road, northeast of Breen, and both lanes remained open to traffic.
