Wednesday, June 11

2:10 a.m.: A deputy responded to 23890 Road G in Cortez, where a woman was stopped for a window tint violation. A search of her vehicle revealed drug paraphernalia and suspected narcotics. She was arrested and booked on multiple charges including possession and driving without a license.

Thursday, June 12

11:27 a.m.: A woman reported ongoing Facebook harassment at the Montezuma County Sheriff's Office, 730 E. Driscoll St., Cortez. The posts accused her of patient abuse and included hashtags calling for her arrest. A summons was issued to another woman for harassment.

7:38 p.m.: A deputy responded to Southwest Memorial Hospital, 1311 N. Mildred Road, Cortez, for a dog bite that occurred at 5098 Road 24.5. A UPS employee was bitten by a dog previously involved in another bite case. The dog was vaccinated, and the case remains open.

Saturday, June 14

6:51 p.m.: A deputy responded to 30100 U.S. Highway 160 in Cortez for a report of a man passed out in a vehicle. The man, intoxicated and previously denied entry to the Ute Mountain Rodeo, was later arrested for disorderly conduct after harassing patrons.

Monday, June 16

5 a.m.: A woman reported from 28391 Road M in Dolores that her brother had stolen two gas cans from their mother’s property. She provided video evidence.

5 p.m.: A deputy responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash at 17731 Road 25 in Dolores. A woman was found in a ditch with neck pain and was transported to the hospital.

Tuesday, June 17

12:26 p.m.: A deputy responded to a motor vehicle accident at 17731 Road 25 in Dolores. A woman was found in a ditch with neck pain and was transported to the hospital.

9:13 p.m.: A juvenile was stopped for a headlight violation at 9000 Road 27 in Cortez. The teen admitted to drinking and failed sobriety tests. He was cited and released to a sober adult.

9:43 p.m.: A woman was arrested for DUI at E. Firtst St. and S. Harrison St. in Cortez after failing roadside tests. She was cited and released to a sober driver.

Wednesday, June 19

9:10 a.m.: A woman at 10223 U.S. Highway 491 in Cortez reported her boyfriend refused to leave her car. The incident was referred to Dolores County.

Friday, June 20

11:15 a.m.: A woman was booked into the Montezuma County Detention Center on an active warrant.

12:13 p.m.: A deputy responded to 28662 Road 38 in Dolores for a vehicle vs. bicyclist crash. A woman was seriously injured and flown to a hospital.

2:41 p.m.: A man was cited at 350 W. Montezuma Ave. in Cortez for driving without insurance.

Sunday, June 22

7:24 a.m.: A man at 206 Central Ave. in Dolores reported the theft of a garden wagon overnight. No suspects or surveillance were available.

Monday, June 23

10:59 a.m.: A man reported an assault by his fiancée during a car ride. Both parties accused each other, but the man was arrested for violating a protection order.

9:03 p.m.: A man was arrested at 7006 U.S. Highway 160 in Cortez for driving under suspension and marijuana possession after a traffic stop.

Tuesday, June 24

1:42 a.m.: A woman was arrested at 921 E. Main St. in Cortez on a shoplifting warrant. Drug paraphernalia was found in her possession.

11:40 a.m.: A man was remanded from court and booked into jail from 865 N. Park St. in Cortez.

2:45 p.m.: A man was arrested at 865 N. Park St. in Cortez on a warrant.

4:31 p.m.: A man reported a protection order violation at 41783 Colorado Highway 184 in Mancos. Video evidence showed the restrained party speaking to him.

9:12 p.m.: A deputy responded to Road L and Road 29 in Mancos for a single-vehicle crash. The driver fled the scene, and the vehicle was recovered.

Thursday, June 26

12:09 p.m., two individuals were booked into the Montezuma County Detention Center on warrants at 730 E. Driscoll St. in Cortez.

Friday, June 27

10:20 p.m.: A man was contacted at 10223 U.S. Highway 491 in Cortez for driving without a license and suspected DUI. He was turned over to Cortez Police.

Saturday, June 28

6:37 p.m.: A woman was arrested for DUI at 26000 Colorado Highway 184 in Dolores after failing roadside tests. She was released to a sober party.

Monday, June 30

7:30 p.m.: A man reported his father damaging property and acting violently at 24149 Road S.6 in Dolores. The father was later arrested for domestic violence and criminal mischief.
