7:40 a.m. A woman reported harassment after receiving threatening text messages from a friend’s ex-boyfriend. He allegedly threatened self-harm and violence against a man staying at her home. The man denied sending any messages.
7:48 a.m. A woman was arrested during a roadside maneuver after admitting to taking drugs in the 5000 block of U.S. Highway 160.
7:10 a.m. A juvenile admitted to reckless driving on South Eighth Street in Dolores and said video games influenced his behavior.
8:43 a.m. A driver swerved in the 14000 block of U.S. Highway 491 in Lewis and injured her head. No damage was done to the car and she was taken to the hospital. Once cleared and she returned to the car, she reported $6,929 in cash missing from the vehicle. There are no suspects.
5:44 p.m. A person was booked on two warrants in the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. in Cortez.
9:24 a.m. A juvenile was taken into custody at the Montezuma Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. in Cortez, and taken to jail.
8 a.m. A person with a warrant for failure to appear turned themselves in to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., in Cortez.
3:09 a.m. A man fell asleep at the wheel and flipped his truck and damaged a guardrail in the 27000 block of U.S. Highway 160 in Cortez.
10:25 a.m. A woman was arrested at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., with second-degree assault and first-degree criminal trespass charges. She was taken to jail.
11:29 a.m. A man with a warrant was taken into custody at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St. in Cortez, and taken to jail.
