2:40 p.m. A woman in the 25000 block of Road T in Dolores reported a suspicious vehicle. She said it followed her, and provided video evidence of the vehicle parked near her home. She also reported missing mail and hacked computers.
8:05 a.m. A fraudulent Amazon purchase was reported in the 29000 block of U.S. Highway 160 in Cortez. A woman discovered unauthorized purchases shipped to an address in Georgia and canceled her debit card.
10:33 a.m. A woman reported her boat and trailer stolen from her property in the 23000 block of Road G in Cortez. There were tire tracks and footprints at the scene, and the trailer was reported as stolen. The woman suspected her ex-stepdaughter did it, since she’s stolen things in the past.
1:50 p.m. A man was upset about a hot dog cart inspection and made verbal threats toward an employee at Town Hall in Dolores, 601 Central Ave. He calmed down and left willingly after being advised on proper licensing procedures.
9:24 p.m. A woman was bit by her neighbor’s dog in the 12000 block of Road 44 in Mancos. The owner agreed to pay medical bills and keep the dog inside for a while.
11:54 p.m. A man was arrested and booked into the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on two active warrants.
5:50 a.m. A semitrailer ran into a cow at the intersection of Roads M and 23. The cow was euthanized after it attempted to move several times and failed. The cow’s owner was notified, and the driver was released.
10:17 a.m. Deputies responded to the intersection of Roads 24.5 and E in Cortez for a hit-and-run involving a black Honda Civic and a semi. The suspect vehicle was not located, and the investigation was handed over to Colorado State Patrol.
9:24 a.m. A woman was transported from the Montezuma Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., and taken to jail. She was cited with contempt of court.
9:48 a.m. A man was transported from the Montezuma Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., and taken to jail. He was cited for driving while ability impaired and harassment.
1:58 p.m. A motorcycle backed into a parked pickup and caused damage in the 28000 block of Road T in Dolores. Both parties exchanged information and agreed to handle the matter through insurance.
10:47 p.m. A man reported being punched by his wife during an argument in the 16000 block of Road 18 in Cortez. The woman admitted to hitting him and was cited with third-degree assault and domestic violence.
8:32 a.m. A vehicle parked at the Lewis-Arriola Elementary School, 21434 Road U, for two days was reported as suspicious. The vehicle was identified, red-tagged and towed after attempts to contact the owner were unsuccessful.
8:21 a.m. A man turned himself into the Montezuma County Jail, 730 E. Driscoll St., and was booked on multiple warrants.
