9:31 a.m. A deputy cited a man for third-degree assault while responding to a report of a verbal dispute over a possible dog abandonment at the 18009 block of Road 28.

Thursday, Sept. 21

7:53 p.m. A woman reported a bicycle and chain saw as stolen at 28260 U.S. Highway 160 No. 96.

Tuesday, Oct. 3

7:20 p.m. A woman was cited with failure to give information/aid after sticking a vehicle and for careless driving at 341 Railroad Ave.

Thursday, Oct. 5

3:43 p.m. A woman reported two mountain bikes as stolen at 8988 Road 27.

4:15 p.m. A deputy responded to a possible domestic violence report from Urgent Care at 1942 E. Main St. when a man went to get his dog and was accidentally struck in the forehead by a wrench. Apparently, his girlfriend was not paying attention while throwing his stuff out at their property. No charges were filed.

Sunday, Oct. 8

12:54 a.m. A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and having an open alcohol container at 25000 Block of County Road H.

Monday, Oct. 9

5:47 p.m. A deputy served a felony warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Tuesday, Oct. 10

1:20 p.m. A deputy arrested a man at 806 S. Broadway who had eight outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Thursday, Oct. 12

9:48 a.m. A deputy served two warrants to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:41 a.m. A deputy was dispatched to deescalate a disagreement between two men when two dogs in the care of one chased the other who had fired shots to scare the dogs away at 11092 Road 20.

Sunday, Oct. 15

1:34 p.m. A woman in the 43000 block of Forest Road 566 was arrested on a warrant after a deputy was called to investigate a disturbance between campsite neighbors.

5:03 p.m. A deputy was dispatched to 29148 Road J.6 for a reported assault.

Thursday, Oct. 19

10:19 a.m. A deputy served a warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

10:23 a.m. A man was turned over to the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Department on suspicion of poaching after a deputy noticed multiple antlers on top of coolers in the back of his out-of-state licensed truck at 200 S. Sixth St., Dolores.

11:55 a.m. A deputy transported a man from the Montezuma County Combined Court, 865 N. Park St. to be remanded to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

3:02 p.m. A deputy served a warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

3:02 p.m. A deputy transported a man from the Montezuma County Combined Court, 865 N. Park St. to be remanded to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

4:47 p.m. A deputy arrested a woman visiting an inmate at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. for suspicion of violating a protection order.

8:34 p.m. A woman was cited because she drove a vehicle without a valid driver’s license at the 15000 block of Highway 145.

Friday, Oct. 20

8:25 a.m. A deputy assisted a woman in locating and retrieving her iPad and purse with the Find my iPhone tool after it had been stolen from her unlocked vehicle at 28260 U.S. Highway 160. The suspected thief was a woman the reporting party knew. No charges were filed.

11:05 a.m. A man at the Montezuma County Combined Court, 865 N. Park St., was arrested on a warrant.

Monday Oct. 23

9:06 a.m. A woman turned herself over to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on a warrant.

11:45 a.m. A man in the custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St. was charged on suspicion of criminal attempt, first-degree assault on a peace officer and second-degree assault on a peace officer.
