Tuesday, April 4

12:19 p.m. An employee of Dolores River Brewery, 100 Fourth St., noticed the door on the Northwest side of the building had been damaged. The owner believes someone had attempted to break in. No footage was able to be found of the incident.

Friday, April 14

4:27 p.m. A man in the 700 block of Road 21.75 was arrested on a warrant.

Saturday, April 15

1:04 p.m. An officer assisted with a traffic stop being performed by an Colorado State Patrol trooper in the 24000 block of Road G.

Wednesday, April 19

6:59 a.m. A woman in the 28000 block of Road T went to let her dogs inside and her husband allegedly blocked the doorway. When the woman tried to push past him the man pulled her by the hair to the ground. The man left shortly after and was arrested in the driveway on suspicion of domestic violence, assault and false imprisonment.

Thursday, April 20

12:37 a.m. A man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., was seen using another inmates information to make a video call to a woman. The man was restrained from contacting the woman by three protection orders. Call logs showed the man had made a total of 13 calls over four days to the woman. The man was issued four summons on suspicion of violating a protection order.

3:59 p.m. A man in the 27000 block of U.S. Highway 160 was arrested on two warrants.

Saturday, April 22

8 p.m. An officer found two injectors of a diabetes medication in the parking lot of Eso Terra Ciderworks in Dolores, 18390 Colorado Highway 145. The officer attempted to contact the pharmacy that it was from and was not able to reach someone until Tuesday, April 25. The pharmacist stated the medication was no longer good, and the officer set it to be destroyed. The average cash cost for four injectors is $1,299.

Sunday, April 23

8:45 a.m. Two dogs attacked cattle in the 42600 block of Road N. and were chased off by the man who owns the cattle.

10:38 p.m. An officer assisted a Cortez police officer with a warrant arrest in the 400 block of Seventh Street in Cortez. The officers arrested a man on a U.S. Marshals warrant and during the arrest a WRAP leg restraint was used on the man.

Monday, April 24

5:53 p.m. An argument between a husband and wife that had been going on for eight days in the 20500 block of Road 21.5 escalated. The man kicked a shoe into a picture frame, slammed their bedroom door, and hit a trash can and gate with a car before speeding off. The man was issued summons on suspicion of criminal mischief and domestic violence. The woman stated she was concerned the man was a danger to himself as he has dementia and that she did not want to pursue charges. The couple has been married about 50 years.

Tuesday, April 25

11:05 a.m. A woman in the 25200 block of Road G was arrested on a warrant.

1:19 p.m. A woman in front of the Montezuma Couty Sheriff’s Officer, 730 E. Driscoll St., was arrested on a warrant.

2:56 p.m. A woman at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was remanded into custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on court order for contempt of court. While the woman was being medically cleared she ran from the hospital and an officer used an arm bar to restrain her. In addition to the court order the woman was booked in on attempt to escape.

Wednesday, April 26

10:07 a.m. A woman at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was remanded into custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on two failure to appear warrants.

4:39 p.m. A woman in a dispute with her landlord in the 23200 block of Colorado Highway 145 was arrested on two warrants.

6:13 p.m. A man and a woman involved in a disturbance in the 12700 block of Road 22 were arrested on warrants.

Thursday, April 27

6:18 a.m. A woman in the 18900 block of Road 22 was arrested on a failure to comply warrant.

8:24 a.m. An officer served a warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

11:16 a.m. A woman in the 11000 block of Road 20 was arrested on a warrant. The woman was found in the brush near an abandoned bicycle.

3:20 p.m. A man at the Montezuma County Combined Courts, 865 N. Park St., was remanded into custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., on two cases out of Mesa County.

Monday, May 1

4:44 p.m. An officer served a failure to comply warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Tuesday, May 2

2:43 a.m. A woman who was afraid an argument was going to become physical requested a man to be removed from her home in the 28800 block of U.S. Highway 160. The man left before officers arrived and a warrant is being sought for his arrest on suspicion of violating a no contact restraining order.

3:56 p.m. An officer served a failure to appear warrant to a man in custody of the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Wednesday, May 3

7:09 p.m. A woman turned herself over on a failure to comply warrant to the custody of the Montezuma County Detention, 730 E. Driscoll St.
