12:35 p.m.: A man turned himself in at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., and was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

Friday, March 3

9:47 p.m.: A man was served a warrant for failure to comply on a driving under restraint case at the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.

Saturday, March 4

12:15 a.m.: A woman was issued a summons near the intersection of County Roads 25 and H on suspicion of driving under restraint after she was pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign.

12:29 a.m.: A woman was issued a summons in the 500 block of Railroad Avenue, Dolores, on suspicion of driving under the influence, after she was pulled over for defective taillights.

6:30 p.m.: A woman reported a third-degree assault near mile marker 56 on U.S. Highway 491. She claimed a man had hit her with a map and grabbed her shirt. After interviewing witnesses, the responding deputy decided there was not enough evidence to confirm the assault had happened, and dropped the case.

Sunday, March 5

7:15 p.m.: A man was arrested in the 21000 block of County Road E on suspicion of two counts of violating a restraining order, obstructing a peace officer, three counts of child abuse, criminal mischief, harassment and domestic violence. The man’s girlfriend claimed he had shoved her to the ground several times and then done the same to a juvenile female in their house, as part of an ongoing pattern of abuse. He fled from the responding deputies, who eventually arrested him after a foot pursuit.

9:46 p.m.: A woman reported that a laptop and power cord had been stolen from her rented vehicle in the 11000 block of County Road 24.3. The items were recovered the same day.
