An officer noticed a suspicious vehicle parked on the side of the road. When the officer approached the vehicle it started moving. The officer pulled over the silver GMC Envoy and recognized the driver from previous contacts while investigating a suspicious vehicle parked on the road very late in the evening or early morning hours. While the officer was speaking with the man, his eyes were noticeably bloodshot, his hands were shaky and he would not keep eye contact. The other deputy was standing on the passenger side of the vehicle when she noticed a bag containing marijuana. The man was then asked to perform roadside maneuvers. Due to the indicators of the man being under the influence of multiple controlled substances, his vehicle was searched. In the console of the vehicle there were two bags that contained methamphetamine residue, a glass pipe, a bag of methamphetamine and a rolled $10 bill possibly used to inhale drugs. The man said he was unaware of the substances being in his vehicle.

A man was pulled over because he was swerving and could not stay in one lane. After he was pulled over and the officer was leaving his vehicle, the driver started moving forward. The officer got back in his car and attempted to pull over the man again. This time, the man stopped and was told to turn off the vehicle, which he did. The man was asked how much alcohol he had consumed, and he said, “Way too much to be driving”. The officer asked how much that was and he again said, “Way too much”. The man then started crying. The officer was able to calm him down. When asked if he was willing to do some voluntary tasks, the man said, “I really don’t want to do them. I know I’m drunk and it doesn’t matter.” The man was placed into custody and cited for driving under the influence.

A BLM officer noticed a possible drunken driver and asked permission to pull the driver over. After he was given permission he activated his emergency lights in attempt to pull the vehicle over. The driver began driving faster and got up to 85 mph, running two people off the road. When he finally stopped, the officer was able to get the key and his driver’s license. When a city officer arrived, he asked the man how much he had to drink and where he was going. The man said that he had 2 beers and a shot and that he was on his way to work. The man agreed to do the roadside maneuvers and did poorly on each task. The man refused both a breath test and a blood test, even after the officer said that if he didn’t do one of them then his license would be seized and his driving privileges would be revoked for a minimum of one year. The officer then issued the man a summons for DUI and gave him a ride to his motel, where he left him in the custody of his co-worker.
