The public is invited to the 29th annual Community Christmas Dinner at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Dec. 25 at the Montezuma County Annex, 107 N. Chestnut St.

Volunteers will prepare and serve a holiday meal for about 300 residents at no charge. In addition to the traditional roast turkey and trimmings, The Sharehouse Community Food Center will prepare three dishes featuring locally grown produce.

Volunteers are needed on Christmas Eve to set up tables from 10 a.m. to noon and to help with cleanup Christmas Day from 2 to 4 p.m.

Financial donations are also accepted. Donations may be made through Onward!’s payment portal at bit.ly/onwardfoundation. Click on “Christmas Dinner” under the “Special Events” category. Donations may also be mailed or dropped off at Onward!, 33 N. Chestnut. Checks should be payable to the Montezuma Food Coalition, with “Christmas Dinner” on the memo line.
