The words of your leader have betrayed you. Those pretending to be outraged over Charlie Kirk were never serious. You saw an opportunity to destroy the careers of people who didn’t vote for Trump, and you took it. You stood before school boards pretending to have humanity while gleefully stripping people of their livelihoods.
Either stand up to Trump when he says far worse than anything any of these people said, or admit you don’t actually care about standards for public speech. You never have. This won’t end with this round of firings. Our school boards and managers should understand that the cultists never cared about decency – only about political affiliation.
Condemn your president’s words on Khashoggi. Demand that those sending death threats to Marjorie Taylor Greene lose their jobs, just as you demanded firings over Charlie Kirk. The actions of the Trump cult speak so loudly, I can’t even hear their words anymore.
As for my take on Charlie Kirk, I’ll use the president’s own words about Khashoggi, since he seems infallible to some: Not everyone was a fan.
